What are the bare bone requirements to get a PropertyExec Live website up and running?

To get your PropertyExec Live website up-and-running you will need:
 

1.	A website designed by the Override PropertyExec Live development team  - Example: Paschendale Real Estate
2.	A domain name  - Example: paschendale.co.za or realestatesouthafrica.com
3.	A hosting package provided by Override

I already have a domain name

We will assist with the process of transferring your existing domain name to our servers.

I have an existing website with another hosting provider
 
The PropertyExec Live platform was designed specifically for our web servers. We cannot guarantee quality of service or functionality on any servers but our own. It is required that existing domains and hosting be moved to our servers. If the domain is tied up with a service contract you have the option to register a new domain with us. We can develop your PropertyExec Live website to have the same look and feel as your existing website or we can create a fresh new design for you. Unfortunately we cannot simply upgrade your old website due to the intricate infrastructure of the Override PropertyExec Client Framework.

Options & requirements

You have the option of choosing an existing design from our catalogue of designs or a custom design. If you choose the custom design option we will create a brand new design with a unique look and feel for you from the ground up. All images, artwork, logos, colour schemes and content are to be provided by the customer, however we can provide whatever is necessary to get the website up-and-running.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a unique name that each website has. It is the on-line address you give to the public so that they can find and view your website. Our domain name is www.override.co.za. If you do not already have one for your business we of course would be more than happy to provide you with one.

What is web hosting?

To have a Web site on the Internet you first need to have a Web server. Unfortunately, owning a Web server can be very costly and requires technical expertise that most businesses don't have. This is where Web Hosts come in. Web hosting companies provide the equipment and other technical resources that you need without the headaches that come when you have to do it yourself.

Think of a Web Host as the landlord of building. A landlord rents out storefronts to various businesses. Each business decorates and runs their store differently, and doesn't worry about the maintenance of the building. In a similar way a Web Host rents out space on a Web server, (or entire Web servers), to various businesses. Each business builds their own Web site and never has to worry about the maintenance of their Web server.

In other words, the Web Host provides the place on the Internet where your Web site lives. It's a lot cheaper than buying you own server, and you don't have to hire the technical staff to take care of it.

How much does hosting cost?

Everyone starts off with the Basic hosting package. With the basic hosting package one can expect to upload 2000 property listings with 25 large photos per listing or 4000 property listing with 25 medium sized photos per listing. If you run out of disk space or need to publish more your hosting package can be upgraded accordingly.

All web hosting fees are to be paid via our debit order system.
